I DIDN’T CHOOSE PRE-EXISTING…
I believe health care is a right, not a privilege. No one should stress on whether they can afford to be healthy.

I totally agree with what you said about health care being a right and not a privilege…that people should not have to stress out about this along with everything else that is already in front that one must pay attention to and navigate. Thank goodness you (and maybe millions of others) can take a sigh of relief.

From our mouths to our elected officials – hope they listen to the people. It was really good to spend time with you today – thank you!

Carla, your posts are so valuable. I hope they are helping you as much as they are helping me. These visuals are the best method of experiencing this journey with you, if that is possible. You are very dear to me! I am so sorry you had to experience such stress due to error. It is horrible that many of us are at the mercy of others making all these decisions (health care). If I am grateful for anything it is your strength and determination to get you through each day. I keep praying and sending love your way!

I am so happy I have this medium to communicate my emotions otherwise I would probably be keeping them to myself which I know is not healthy. Regarding the mistake, I get it, it happens. It just wasn’t in good timing. Hope we as a country can work on really making it good for all of us. As always, thank you for your prayers and love!

It is such a labyrinth of confusion and unnecessary stress, all the different areas that have to be filled out in paper form or through computer…. then the mistakes !!! I’m so sorry you had to go through that right after your surgery!!! Hospitals are so uncomfortable and many of the workers are overworked and stressed themselves. The short visits with the doctors that are often not personal is unsettling. I know I see veterinarians treat dogs and animals with greater compassion than human doctors.

The insurance fiasco was so stressful! I’m so fortunate my doctors in Tucson are so caring and make me feel as if I am their favorite patient. I’m sure you have seen all the sides of healthcare as well. Love you Maye
